Face Detection
Infrared Thermometer
- Manual time-consuming process
- Measures forehead temperature which might not be the maximum temperature.
- The accuracy claimed is impossible to achieve.
- A market flooded with unreliable products
Face Detection with Temp. Screening
- Infrared pointer sensor-based solution
- Measures temperature of only 1 point on the face
- Temp point depends on height/ position
- Eyelid corner or forehead are only required points
- Most likely to take an abrupt reading of no use
Handheld camera-based Tripod mounting solution
- Inbuilt LCD and battery operation
- Not suitable for 24×7 auto operation
- LCD likely to fail in case of continuous operation
- Battery at explosion risk in case of continuous operation
- Human intervention required
Why Point measurement is inefficient
- Max Temp 97.6ºF on the left corner of the forehead
- Max Temp 98.1 and 98.5 respectively at eyelid corners
- Means, measuring the temperature at any point on forehead serves no or least purpose
AGILE HUMAN ELEVATED TEMPERATURE DETECTION SYSTEM (HETD)
Agile-Therm, a Human elevated body temperature detection system is installed at the entrance of the premises to screen employees. Employees found with a higher body temperature than normal are subject to further screening and barred from entering the premises. This helps suspected persons from entering the premises and spreading the virus.
ALARM SETTING MODES IN HETD
The solution allows user to define alarm temperature using two ways as under
- Users can define alarm temperature from 99.0ºF to 101.5ºF on the setting console available on the home page.
- Users can enable an auto alarm temperature setting. In this mode, the system will initially start with a user-defined temperature setting say 99.9ºF. The system will determine and log the maximum face temperature of the first 10 healthy entrants. It then gets an average of 10 entrants having a temperature within permissible limits. And will set an alarm temperature by adding 2ºF to the average. Means in case an average of 10 healthy entrants is 97.5 ºF, the alarm temperature will be frozen to 99.5 ºF.
